Featuring exposed stone walls, thick beams and arches, tiled floors and open fire places, while maintianing simplicity, it is a unique house.
For a group of friends or a more mature family wanting to get away from it all, this is a perfect retreat.

The Accomodation
Ground Floor living accomodation
The Impressive and vaulty front hall has a fantastic Inglenook fireplace and lots of unusual objects.

Kitchen: There is a gas oven and hob, a fridge freezer, kettle and dishwasher. There is a toaster and a number of coffee makers. Ample crockery and cutlery.
Across from the kitchen is a cloakroom and area for washing with a washing machine.

Dining Room: Next to the kitchen with large open fireplace and table and chairs.

The large sitting room features an exposed stone wall and arched windows looking out into the garden.
There are two sofas, and a well stocked bookcase.

There is also a small double bedroom with ensuite shower room accessed separately on the ground floor.
First Floor accomodation

There is a large master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and external terrace from the bedroom.

There is a twin bedroom and a single bedroom.


The piece de la resistance is the Watch tower or observation room which has comfortable futons to laze and watch the world go by.
There is also an external terrace leading from this room.

Other amenities.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: Towels and linen are provided and are changed once a week (on the handover day). However, guests are welcome to use the washing machine as often as they want if more frequent changes are required. Pool towels are also provided.
Amenities/Facilities: hob/stove oven fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine iron/ironing board central heating room fans barbecue.
Outside


This is where Ghironzo really comes into its own. Vast grounds on various levels, walks, olive grove, a ruined castle and a chapel.
To the rear of the property is a wonderful stone Loggia draped in grape vines for outside dining.
Terrace furniture (table, chairs, sunloungers and umbrellas) are provided.
The pool is an unusual kidney shape overlooking the valley below. Pool loungers, umbrellas and towels are provided.
Activities and Places to visit:
Sports: Horse Riding, Golf, mountain bike riding, fly fishing to name just a few. For nature lovers there are numerous signposted walks to take in the local flora and fauna and the fine views.
Rome and Siena are an easy drive as are Perugia and many of the historic towns close by.
Citta Di Castello is a short drive away. A real Italian working town which combines history, great restaurants and plenty of shopping.
