Marco Marconi and Sally Ann Hayes.

Marco and Sally Ann have joined together to form a stunning duo performing favourite jazz classics with a repertoire covering Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, Coleman, Adams and Grever, Howard, Rodgers, Ellington… They have also formed a wonderful 5 piece band comprised of Gianludovico on double bass, Lorenzo on drums and Francesco on trumpet where they emulate the style of Fitzgerald and Armstrong and the big band sounds of the '30's. The duo (or any formation with the band) is available for private parties, weddings, anniversaries, concerts or functions. Marco has his own Italian 3 piece band, where they play music ranging from traditional Italian with accordion to latin music and pop songs of the and 70's and 80's.

Marco Marconi, Pianoforte

Marco studied classical piano with Maestro Mauro Nadir Matteucci, graduating from the Conservatory of Perugia with maximum points and "lode" (commendation). He has won several competitions including "Citta' di Campomorone" (GE), "A Gori" Sarteano (SI), and first prize at the "Guido Monaco World Competition". In 1998 he compete in the Venice "La Fenice" competition, a privilege reserved for only the best graduates from the Italian Conservatories. Marco continued in depth studies in jazz under the guidance of Maestro Ramberto Ciammarughi and graduated a second time from the Conservatory of Perugia with maximum points for his jazz diploma.

Sally Ann Hayes, Lyric Soprano

Sally Ann studied musical theatre with Ian Adam in London and graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama. She has sung in musicals all over England until 1997 when she began to study opera in Rome with the world renowned soprano, Antonietta Stella. Sally Ann studied opera for over five years in Rome, during which time she returned regularly to London where she sang in L'Elisir D'Amore, I Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana, Die Fledermaus, L'Arlesiana and L'Amico Fritz. She returned to Italy in November 2003 where she has continued to sing opera and also classic jazz. She has sung "Michaela" from Carmen and "Tosca" from Tosca in Perugia and has given regular concerts of opera and jazz at the Zibaldone club also in Perugia.
